Hi all,
I just picked up a Curtis soft side for my JD. I have the rear remotes and power beyond. I was wondering how any of you with cabs got around the remotes and hydraulic lines. I'm just looking for ideas/pics of how yours is set up.

I'm thinking of cutting out the section of the rear mount/plate and retrofitting it with a "1/2" box that will go around the hydraulic lines, inside, behind seat. That would essentially leave the lines outside the cab. Then I can bolt the steel box on with weather stripping from inside, behind seat.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Dear Trucker1
I just removed my soft side, leaving the roof and windshield on. I carefully cut the soft side not the clear part for the hydraulic lever to pass through, leaving the hoses outside.
I tie the eylets down with work boot laces.
One winter I passed too close to a cut off branch and pierced the vinyl side window ( duct tape ) repair for now
I think you are on the right track.
