Help me understand the DOT securement laws

Don't forget that anything ATTACHED to the primary load needs another securement; e.g.: you need a four-pint securement on the tractor PLUS a chain on the loader bucket and shredder is present, for a total of six.

Also, state regulations are often in conflict with Federal, we all know that federal is *supposed* to trump state, but the person with the Hat, Badge and Gun might not see it your way.
