I picked up this Iseki T1300F for $750.00 including two 100 lb JD front or rear hanging weights. two worn out miss match rear tires with good rims
the front tires say T125 70 D15 the rims are shot as is the tires.
the tranny has a bad reverse-- second gear
the clutch is bad
missing the front driveshaft
the good
the Diesel engine is good and runs
the front end loader works but could use bushing in the lifts.[ play ]
I really bought this for the front end loader to see if I can adapt it to my Yanmar 16F 4x4
does anyone think its worth fixing or maybe sell it as is without the front end loader ?
If its a keeper what about finding parts? like front rims and tires , rear tires , reverse gear, rebuild clutch, parts manual ,$$$$$$$$$

That sounds similar to the Satoh S373D I rebuilt. Was it "worth" it? It depends on if you mean financially or for it's usefulness as a tractor. A lot of it boils down to how much you like the tractor, how much you like working on it, and how much time and money you can devote to it. Financially it is rarely worth it to restore vintage items and sell them unless they are particularly sought after which these tractors are really not. Part of what makes them attractive at all is their low cost which usually means they needs lots of TLC or you just might find one in good shape which makes it a great value. From the standpoint of restoring something and having a decent tractor when you're done it may be worth it.

thanks for your post. I really bought it to use the front end loader on another tractor. that was the original idea and the price being cheap. ...considering what needs to be done on this tractor I will sell it. being it is a 4 X 4 with a good diesel engine and body parts..

Here is a link to the rebuild of a tx1300f that was given to me.
I have a little over $1100 dollars fixing everything. If you already
have a working 4x4 tractor then I would take the loader off
of the Iseki and sell that tractor as fast as I could. The
money just to buy all of the parts you'll need could go over
$1000 dollars. I could go on about why is the front driveshaft
missing? To the clutch disk and pressure plate and release bearing
could add up to $400 to $500 dollars. I had to buy a used reverse
gear shaft and that was $100 dollars just for that used shaft.
Sell it and enjoy the free time you'll have after you get rid
of that burden.

Parting out tractors seems to be the most lucrative approach to making money on cheap whole-tractor acquisitions. I know one dealer that charged $1200 for the front axle for 4WD units for the TX tractors. Radiators can bring in up to a few hundred in some cases. There seems to be a lot of this going on out on eBay as well. Again, it comes down to what you're looking for in the end and how much time a person wants to spend stripping parts and cataloging them, etc. And you'll still wind up with a basket of parts that may never sell. All I know is the people operating eBay have a good thing going on - a 10% margin + Paypal (3%) on all sales and they never need to turn a wrench!

Guys I appreciate your posts. great ideas . I assume there is a classified forum on this web site ?
I will need to remove the FEL before taking pics. it will be interesting to see what issues I run into
mounting the FEL to a Yanmar 16F 4X 4. especially hooking up the hydraulics correctly. the Ieski FEL has a lever that diverts the flow from the loader to the 3 point hitch. I would assume all the brand FELs has that feature

From what I have seen generally the loader valve taps into the high pressure hydraulic circuit somewhere under the seat and discharges back downstream to where the tap is taken off which is in the same area as the take off and is independent (mostly) of the 3-point circuit other than the 3-pt will need the high pressure too so if you are operating the loader at the same time as the 3-point it may cause a decrease in lifting ability for each. All the tractors I have worked with provide a spot for an open-center valve take off that usually only requires an adapter block be made or purchased to provide hose connection points. Documentation can be sketchy and confusing on the hydraulic systems in the service manuals.
