Help Needed 62D2 for 2320

I need help. I found a dealer that had a 62D2 mower deck with a blower/bagger attachment for $1900. I thought it was a good deal so I bought it. I realize this will become a little bit of a project to install.

The 2320 has a 62D1 mower deck and the 2520/2720 have the 62D2 mower deck. What is the difference and what do I need to change to make it work?

Also is it worth spending the money on independent lift or should i just use the TPH?

There was some discussion on this a while back and if KennyD shows up he can clear this up. However, I think the verdict was that a D2 will not work on a 2320.

i'm pretty sure with a little creativity and a welder it will work just fine....

But no, i'm sure it won't bolt right up....

yelbike,did you get linkage with the deck?

Here are a couple pics of the 2320 linkage and the 2520 (old) linkage.
JdParts shows the deck for both the 2320 and the 2520 to have the same part number. The only thing I see are some differences with the drive over ramp parts,but other than that they look the same. With the proper linkage it looks like it should work.
My .02,save your money for something other than the independent lift.
