Hi Guys, and Gals!
First, let me say I hope everyone has a VERY MERRY CHRISTTMAS!!! May
God be with you all, and may you all be happy and prosper in the new year.

I bought a 1953 International Harvester pickup, and I'm doing a frame off
restoration. I have found just about everything I need, except the two
chrome emblems that went on the front fenders that read INTERNATIONAL
HARVESTER L110.
Can anyone help? Not too worried about the condition. I can bead blast them
if needed. I don't expect them to be usable as found. Not many survived.
I have tried all the collectors clubs, etc. Also need the hubcaps and ashtray.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Surely there are a few of these old
rigs sitting around the old farms.
Please e-mail me at RandBMfgInc@worldnet.att.net,
or call (816) 587-9814.
Thanks, Rick

Hi Rick, can't help much with your request but good to see you on here again. Did you try Scouts West? IH fanatics for sure.

Good luck and Merry Christmas,

Rick,

Can't send email out right now, seems to be a problem with my ISP.

This is a good place to start for International stuff, kind of like TBN for International.

The Binder Bulletin forum is a good place to start. Binder Books (same people) is a good place to look for manuals and maybe decals.

Do a 1951 or 1952 have the same emblem? I had one of each of these and I may be able to help you.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the help. I'll try Scout west. Tried binder books. Got my repair
manual from them. Going to fix the old girl up and let her spend the rest
of her life as a pampered, classic. She's built like a tank. Hood opens from
either side, (one piece hood), or open both latches and it comes right off.
Easy to work on. I'll try the binder bulletin also.

yes, i imagine 51 & 52 are close, if not exact. Please let me know a price,
and I'll get with you. And if anyone has an ashtray, (it was an add on)
not built into dash. Also just found out I need the sun visors. Condition
not important.
billbill1, you can e-mail me with the info. if you like.
Thanks to everyone for the help.
Rick

Sounds like fun!

Wondered, how did things turn out with that Jeep? That was a while back, but I do not recall how the story finished up?

Merry Xmas!

Hi Guys,
The guys at oldihc.org were very helpful. Like the guys here on TBN.
I'm convinced that all the good people on the earth either own a tractor,
or an old pickup.
The jeep is finished, and I drive it a lot. It is a 76 postal jeep. Right hand
drive. High performance 302 mustang powered. 3.73 rear gear. Built
C-4 auto trans. Custom paint, a lot of chrome, and will pull the front
wheels of the ground about 2-3 inches when traction is good. Will try to
attach a pic. Thanks, Rick

pic. of the jeep
This pic is when it was 80% finished.
New red/black interior, scoop on carb, black plastic hand made doors,
and more chrome since the pic was taken. Rick, the oldest living teenager!
