Help on value and parts on a 2012Cub/Yanmar EX2900

Looked at this tractor today...had a nice loader,,,multitrack tires, rears loaded, 230 hrs....couple small dents/scratches but overall very nice...also comes with a brand new Brush hog 5ft ...Tornado brand....wants 12,500.00

I am wondering if this is a good price and how available are parts if it isn't made anymore

Without looking it up, I think it's a pretty good price. There's a EX3200 on Ebay 2012 with less hours for 15K+. EX2900 is the same machine with a few less HP. Bush hog really sweetens the deal.
Yanmar has been around for 100 years and I don't see them going anywhere....and parts should not be a problem down the road, the Ex line produced quite a few tractors.

I would throw an offer of 11K, and anywhere between 11.5-12K is a great deal.

Wonder if there is warranty left? And I ccan get a brand-new LS 2025 for 15k with a brand new rotary mower.

I believe there was a cutooff for the warranty change.....I think it was 3 years, then bumped to 5 years.

Dont know much about the LS's, but hear they're good machines. However, I think thats a smaller model, like the SC2400.....which is a full sixe down from the EX2900.

Talked to a Yanmar guy today...he told me that the Yanmar is a much heavier built tractor than LS???

Never sat on or looked at an LS, so don't know how they're built. I can say the Yanmars are very well built machines.

Cvc. warranty is based on when it was originally sold is when the warranty clock begins. Take the serial # into a dealer and ask.

By the way . . an EX2900 is a well built unit with a very strong dealer sales and support network. Dealers were selling new EX2900s still in May of tbis year in our area. I don't feel an LS is the comparable.
