- Kubota L3750DT
Hi,
I am a new caretaker for a property in Vermont. The place came with a tractor that is rarely used. I have a friend with a farm who's Kubota just caught on fire and burnt itself to the ground. They are looking for a replacement and I thought since the one here isn't really needed or used that I could sell her ours. However because it is an older tractor I can not find any relevant information about how much it might be worth. I am hoping some people here might be able to help me determine a fair price or price range.
I have a Kubota L3750DT Serial #50558 with a BF900 as well as a post hole digger and box scrapper.
The tractor has only 468 hours on it. It runs, seems to be in good shape, has been parked under cover in a barn most all of its life. Tires are in pretty good shape, I just replaced the valve stems.
I had a local repair guy who used to work for Kubota suggest that I might be able to start asking at $15000 for it. This kind of shocked my friend as she said that is what they paid for their burnt out tractor 15 years ago. I know they can hold value but it is really hard to find a good reference point for pricing this, especially as I have no experience with tractors. If $15000 might be the high point on the price range, what would be the low point? She was also thinking that they could buy it and give us rights to borrow it back any time we might need it.
Any help at all will be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Sonrisa
