Help this Ozzie get a real \"KIOTI\" pleeease!
Hi guys, Well, after all the help, advice & encouragement that I have recieved over the last couple of weeks preceeding the purchase & ensuing delivery of my new DK55 (tomorrow!), & after refering to the DK55 as a KIOTI all this time, it just doesn't seem right that tomorrow I will be taking delivery of my "DAEDONG"!!!!! Sounds like a bit of a "clanger" after "KIOTI" rolling off the toungue so easily for the last 2 weeks.
Think about it guys, what would you rather on the side of your machine?
I've decided that I really want a KIOTI so that I will really feel a part of the family, in machine and by family name too!
I've put together an e-mail to send off to KIOTI in the U.S. but I wanted some feedback before I hit the send button and maybe some ideas to help me make it happen!
Anyway see what you think & let me know.
Best regards,
The Ozzie orphan, Buzz.
Hello my name is Xxxxx Xxxxxx & I live in the South West of Western Australia, so "G'day from Down Under".
I'm sure that you will find this a most unusual if not one-off request.
No doubt you all may get a good giggle out of this e-mail too!
Tomorrow Friday April 21, 2005 I will be taking delivery of my new DK55.
The community at TBN played a big part in my decision making process leading up to my purchase & I'am very grateful for their help & support.
My dilemma is this: “KIOTI” Tractors are marketed here in Australia as just plain "DAEDONG".
Now as great a name as this probably is in Korea I can fully understand why it was decided to market the tractors under the "KIOTI" label in the US.
I recon that maybe "DINGO" (the Aust equivalent of the American Coyote) could have been the way to go here in Australia, but I wasn't part of the process.
Anyway I was wondering…………
What is the possibility of getting hold of a set of US DK55 hood decals for the, left & right of mine so I can "Upgrade" my fine machine into a US “KIOTI”?
After all my correspondence with my new found US buddies on TBN about the "KIOTI", the “DAEDONG” label just doesn't have it I'm afraid.
Anyway if you could respond to this e-mail after you discern that this is not a prank, I would be very grateful to hear back from you.
Kind regards,
Xxxxx.
P.S. If I get the new “KIOTI” decals I’ll be very proud to send you some pics of the first “OZZIE KIOTI” (Hey that’s got quite a ring to it don’t you think?) as well as post them to on the TBN site.
