Hi, I just received my Jinma 284 and am in the process of assembling the beauty and need some help. I am having trouble with the hand throttle: mounting, operation, etc.
The hand throttle rod itself, when mounted using the attached bracket to the only hole in the fuel tank support, is almost totally vertical. This creates a several problems.
1. The part of the rod extending through the dash, is not in the same axis as the grommet. Therefore the grommet is being tweaked creating a lot of friction.
2. The end of the hand throttle lever hits the top of the dash prior to hitting the stop on the bracket.
3. The linkage from the slotted part that is also operated by the foot throttle, is not long enough to reach the bottom of the hand throttle lever.
I will try to attach a picture for clarification.
By the way, the foot throttle linkage rubs on the hydraulic line that goes to/from the rear. Should I just bend the linkage to clear it?
Thanks for your help.
