I bought a 3-bottom plow at an auction today and was hoping someone could help to identify what brand it is. I have attached a few pictures, and I can tell you that there seems to be remnants of some red paint on it in a few places.

Can anyone identify this? FWJ??

This is my first plow so any pointers or tips specifically for this type would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Looks like it is an IH...look on the back of the moldboards...there is a part # there somewhere..very well may start with "POxxxxxxxRx". I just bought a new shin (same are the ones you have, for a one bottom 1PT plow for my 140. Try "Red Power Magazine" website, someone there will have 2 or 3 of those laying around....Good luck with it. BobG in VA

PS: If IH, the bolts that hold those plow shares/points on will most likely be reverse threaded if they were bought with the share...don't know why IH did that but pls don't ask me how I know......

If you want to use that plow, it looks like the first thing you need to do is to replace the shares, they look totally worn out to me. Looks like an IH to me.
