Help to identify year of Ford 4110 Series 2

Hi there, I have a Ford 4110 Series 2 two wheel drive. The numbers are:
KA314D, 8J03 and BB74558. Can you tell me the age of my tractor. Thanks, Ged

8j03 is the date code.

1st number is last year of the decade, the letter is the month, and the 2 numbers is the day of the month. sept 03.. year.. guessing the decade is the 80's for II machines.. so 88 for year.

I don't have my manual in front of me though..

8J03 = 8th year of the decade (make that 1988) J = 9th month (I is not used) and 03 = 3rd day of the month. With a "B" Serial Number prefix it was built in Basildon, probably after Romeo ("C" Ser. No. prefix) was closed as a tractor assembly plant. KD2 was a late 1970's model (when Romeo was still a tractor plant) and yours is a KD3 so 1988 makes more sense.
