Help transmission fluid

I recently changed the transmission fluid on my 2004 Farmtrac 545 and it is now hard to shift into gear. It did shift smoothly in all gears before changing fluid. The fluid that came out was thick and milkly colored. I replaced it with the recommended specs and used the premium tractor supply hydraulic fluid. What is causing this? What fluid should I change to? Recommendations please ?

Being that the fluid was milky, it probably had moisture in it. Many shift shafts for shifting gears will get rusty and will become hard to shift. Get some penetrating lube and spray the shift linkages and pivoting shafts going into the trans case. While doing this, really work the levers.
