I have a H11LT Bolens here, pretty much just a rolling frame.

Best I can work out its got an Eaton Model 7 Hydrostatic on a Peerless 1320 series transaxle.
Info is a bit thin on the ground on these machines, seems to be an odd one out.
Found manuals for a 3014-3012-3016 that looks to be set up pretty similar. No belt routing.
I found a Peerless 1320 transaxle manual for a Whitehorse and that looks to be the same part with a belt diagram.

Going by the fan I thought it would be CW rotation. Diagram seems to back that up.

Heres some pics. Sorry they are a bit big.

I was just wondering how strong the Hydro is and how much hard work it will put up with.

Dad has a few acres and wants something made up to rake up sticks under the trees.

I also have a Stiga out front mower frame here.

I was thinking of putting the hydro transaxle under the Stiga frame and powering it with a 12.5hp electric start Kohler. Or an 11hp GX340 Honda. A rake on the front, maybe a small blade but be sure that it wont go down much below ground level. My Dad is not very mechanically sympathetic.
Would that be too much Hp?? Could the trans be worked too hard.

Would this be a good Idea or would I be better off using a geared transaxle?? It actually had a chain drive 5 or 6 speed originally so I could put one of those back on it. But the hydro would make a much easier to use machine.

If I did not use the hydro while building the above I was thinking of leaving it in the Bolens frame, use one of the above engines and make it more tractor looking.
Ive also got some 5.700X12 lug tyres here that I could use on it. Does anyone think they might be a bit tall. A tractor for towing trailers and things about, I would also like to mount a 2' wide rotary hoe ive got here on the back of it.
Im also wondering how strong the axle tubes would be. Would it handle Ball weights for a loaded trailer.

I would appreciate some solid advice on the hydro. Its not a bit of gear I want to waste by blowing up.

And any thoughts in general. If you are having a look at the above, feel free to tell me what you think.

Cheers, Bob.
