Kabuota 7610
Good evening everyone!
Just a little update....This weekend I put the first scratches on my new Kubota 7610. It felt great and I cant wait till I can do it again. The question I have is in reference to a tooth bar attachment.
I dont know what brand is good quality, and do I want teeth that are replaceable(bolt on), or welded permentaly. This will be used for my personal use only and not for a business or everyday use. I found several adds when I searched the topic, but I feel better whrn I hear information from someone who already has one. Please send contact info as well.

I also was wondering if damage will occur to the original cutting edge when using the slip on tooth bar?

Thanks duce50

I bought a Markham and found that it works very well. Markham Welding - Tooth Bar
If you want to protect the cutting edge of your bucket, then look at the one from EZ Standard.
There is a big difference in price. The EZ Standard being the higher of the two.
Take a look at this thread for a look at the EZ Standard:

Good luck, I know what you are going through.

Can't go wrong with the Markham toothbar, and I don't recall any posts of toothbars damaging the cutting edge of a loader bucket, and don't recall reports of worn out cutting edges either. I suppose you could wear down the cutting edge by continually using the bucket to plow the snow off a paved driveway, but you wouldn't use a toothbar with a reinforced cutting edge to do that with anyway. If your bucket edge is light enough to be damaged, it needs reinforcing and not just when the toothbar is mounted, I don't see a need to pay more for a reinforcement that you take off with the toothbar.

Another vote for the Markham toothbar. It will not damage your original cutting edge. Installed, it reinforces your bucket too.
They are excellent IMO.

They are so simple to make I don't know why anyone would buy one. About $125 in steel and parts. Besides, it gives you an excuse to buy some tools to build it with. Go to Machine Builders web site and view the neat projects. You won't even have to pay the postman.

Hey guys not trying to hi jack the post but have a little different question. I am about to purchase a Kubota L2800 with a FEL. Will a tooth bar allow me to do some digging with the FEL. Sorry might be a stupid question but I am learning....

Thanks
Wade

I looked at the Markham and went with a Woods. I need to use my machine for snow removal in winter and the Markham is not bolt on. I can take mine on or off by myself in 2 mins.
For me this was worth the extra $.
