Help with install of 3rd SCV for 4500

I'm getting ready to start the install of the 3rd scv kit on my 4500. Anybody else done this and have any tips? My main question is does the spool valve really need to be removed? That looks like quite of bit of extra work if it doesn't need to be done. Any tips or pics would be helpful! I think there is another member of the board that is getting ready to install one too.

I bought the kit for my 4700...

Problem is I don't think it is compatible with my power beyond kit.

I thought the same thing about trying to do it without removing the valve..

I am going to put in the 4th and 5th kit this weekend. It runs off the PBY.

I might just punt on the #3 SCV.

Or ...I might just uses hoses instead of the piping. The problem is the piping for the 3rd SCV and the PBY conflict

To answer my own question, no the SCV does not need to be removed, but be prepared for some frustration with room to work. I added the 3rd remote this week and it wasn't that difficult. Main problems are getting the pin out the goes through the front of the spool valve and getting a wrench on the hydraulic tube fittings going into the spool valve. Also the handle on the new hydraulic lever was so tight I thought something was wrong the the valve, ended up just loosening the bolt that passes through the lever and it works like a charm now. Also had to ream the holes out on the quick coupler mounting plate.

I've asked this question before, but didn't get an answer, what has anyone done when connecting hydraulic implements about the end of the quick connects? Every implement that I would borrow with have Ag ISO tips. Make up short hoses with the male 3/8" parker 60 and a female 1/2" ISO?

I "think" TSC sells adapters to make the conversion, or the short hoses would work also...
