OK stupid question, but I need some details on how to wire the 24V control lines between house & outside condensor unit.
The unit only has one knockout on it for the "liquid tight" conduit. I know I shouldn't run the 24V with the 220V power lines. I looked quick at my parent's house - didn't see the 24V lines outside the conduit, so I guessed that they are inside it (which doesn't seem right).
A search on google this morning indicates that the 24V lines are run alongside the refridgerant line tucked under the insulation. Is this right? The low volt doesn't need to be run in conduit? There is a "port" on the unit with a weather grommet that looks perfect for inserting the 24V control lines into.
Just wanted to be sure I'm doing it right. I guess I should snoop around the neighborhood a bit...
News flash, peeping tom arrested swears innocence - "I was just trying to figure out how to wire my A/C"
