I have a m4700 and I have been told I can not use a backhoe. Kubota said that the top link is weak and that the draft sensor in the top link will wear out if I use a backhoe. The other question is when the hoe is attatched to the tractor I cannot raise the lift arms more than a few inches, is this normal or should you be able to raise the hoe like any other 3 point implement? Thanks for any help. Clark Bailey

Does the tractor have a loader? What kind of backhoe? Normally a special top link bracket is added with the backhoe mounting kit specifically for those tractors. This bracket would basically take your draft control out of commission.
