I have a Montana 7' rotary cutter, MHDRC8480SC, which I bought new many years ago. The tail wheel began plowing beautiful furrows and on disassembly it looks like bearings were never installed in the hub. I have what appear to be hardened races which have worn grooves in the shaft. I kept it greased but I guess this says a lot about my level of awareness.
The shaft is about 7.25" long by 1.0" diameter with a castle nut on one end and a flat disc on the other. The disc has a chord removed and it mates with a matching chord welded on the fork. If anyone knows the supplier of this cutter or has an idea of what company's parts might work I'd sure appreciate the help.
Thanks in advance
