Thanks for the response... replies below ....
What about the following...
Rhino RSM7H?
Gearmore GOF, GOL, GHF Series?
Rears Manufacturing IFA or OMF Flail Series, Rears S Series Pak Chopper?
In looking at a lot of the US based manufacturers it looks like I am limiting my choices a good bit
by requiring/wanting a hydraulic offset capability. Wondering if I should drop the hydraulic offset requirement
to open up some more options.
Also, wondering if due to the rough terrain, I would benefit from a manufacturer that offers a rear wheel or caster kit.
Thanks for your input and assistance.

Just so I am on the same page here.....
1. Your telling me you have a private road that you can travel on for all your
mowing needs.
Yes sir... 300 acres at the end of 2 miles of dirt road. All fields either within the property,
accessed from drive, from other fields or internal logging roads. Occasionally need to get on
the town road for 1/3 of a mile or so, but that is what we call a Class IV road.... all dirt, maybe, maybe
gets graded by the town once a year. Basically only passable in a high clearance 4WD vehicle or tractor.
Most of the property is wooded. My guess is that fields, meadows & food plots that need to get brush hogged or
mowed with a flail are 25 to 30 acres tops. That may change as we selectively open up more acreage, but it is unlikely
that it will get above 40 acres.
2. Your also telling me any and all of your mowing needs will be less than
fifteen feet wide every where you mow in perpetuity?.........
Well I cannot make any guarantees in perpetuity... but trust me, 15' is way too unwieldy in some of the spots
where I take the tractor. This is not an ag operation. It is a place up in the mountains where we have some meadows
and I do a bunch of work on food plots for deer, turkey, etc. The gent who currently brush hogs all of our fields does so
with a 60" or 72" rotary unit... no bigger.
3. You are unable to use a 15 foot flailmower with a hydraulic end towing assembly
making its towing width less wide than the narrowest adjusted width of your stock 5095 tires?????????
Life frequently involves tradeoffs... I would rather have the simplicity and maneuverability of a narrower,
non-winged, non-hinged mower. It may not be the decision others would make, but that is the way that I think I want to go.
Also, for some of the terrain & some of the road/trail crossings, a PTO mounted mower will be easier to lift up & out of the way
than a towed unit.

The only real option you have is a "Vrsimo Roadsider"
Model RSS 300-96
96 inch cut flailmower with side shift of either 12 or 18 inches.
Vrisimo looks like it may fit the bill & the tractor dealer with whom I deal appears to
be one of their authorized distributors. So will definitely look into it.
UNLESS you look at the excellent Italian or Czech
rear mounted folding flailmowers.
I prefer made-in-USA, since I work for a US manufacturer. Next would be Canada, followed by Europe. Will not buy Chinese made.
Would consider quality European flails if I cannot find one made in USA or Canada.
Like I said,
Its your money but the smallest Hiniker
with the end towing package and the 540-1000
adapter will be about the same money.
The Hinikers all appear big with the exception of the 5710, but that is only 6' of cutting width.
I know that this may sound a bit fickle, but would rather go 7' or 8' if possible. That gives me the widest swath
but stays within or just outside of my tires & provides good maneuverability as well. Also, except for the
5710, all the Hinikers appear to be tow behinds.
The Vrisimo mowers like the Hinikers and the Mathews flail mowers
are sold in every state in the Union so parts are not an issue.
