help with snowblower price

Hi everyone,

I am in need of a 3 point snowblower. I have a l3010 HST and am thinking I want a 60". I have seen them going for around $1500 on Ebay. Is this what I should expect? I waited until spring to look hoping that sombody didnt use theirs as much as hoped.

I paid $850 for a lightly used 55" JRW with electric chute rotator 3 summers ago. My B 2710 handles it easily. Hope this helps ya.

I was looking for a 60" this winter and thought I should be able to find a used one for about $500 cdn. The 60" ones seem to be be less common where I live than 72" or 84" of which there are quite a few old ones around. I ended up getting a 10 year old Meteor for $650 (about $550 U.S.) which had been well greased and worked fine. You really have to look at the condition , and if it needs bearings or anything find out how much it will cost to fix. I had seen some for less money but nowadays I think it costs me about .25 per mile to drive anywhere so paying a bit more close to home was worth it. I imagine shipping might be costly if buying off e-bay. I have it on a B7800 and have no trouble reaching or operating the manual chute rotator. You're certainly picking the right time to start looking so you can wait for a bargain instead of panicing when the first big snowfall comes along. Good Luck.

I think you should do some more looking around. That just seems high to me.
