Hi all.
So I have a couple of questions regarding my MF35 as the title suggests.
Firstly, and in the first picture, what is the use for the foot (heel?) pedal underneath the draft quadrant? It is held up with spring, although mine is pretty seized, and attaches to the right hand rear brake rod, although it does not appear to move this.
Secondly, I have just installed the pickup hitch that was in the barn with the tractor, but I am confused about the bottom links.
With regards to the last 2 photos, can someone explain the gap between the linch pin and the shoulder where the stay bars attach to the horizontal bar of the hitch? The stays have a large hole to go over the shoulder, but there is then a 2" space and the bars drop off and move towards the pins. It looks to me ever so much like the drawbar ball joints should go in this space, but then the hydraulic system would lock up if used, so whats the answer?
I'm new to tractors, so forgive me if I'm begin thick. (Oh, and whats the pickup hitch actually for? lol)
Cheers,
Jim
