I had parked my T233 a few months ago and got busy and was not around much.
I recently went to start it and it starts but dies when I release the key.
I know it could have a lot to do with the brake switch and other similar issues.
I did find that the glow plug relay was defective. (Glow plugs are fine)
It was sparking when I attached the battery. I changed it out for one I got at NAPA, an AR282.
I had never really looked at the schematics in the manuals until now.
I found that they are almost illegible and missing the right hand side of the schematic.
It would really be nice to be able to read all of the text including wire designations etc.
IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE A MORE READABLE T233/T773/T293 SCHEMATIC?
Also, I noticed that the terminal on the rotary (start switch) labeled 17 are shown connected to the Start (#2) position in some diagrams in the manual, but not in the schematic?
Anyone know which is correct?
Also, if I disconnect the fuel relay, it will still start. Is that a hint?
I know it is starting, not just the starter turning it over, because of the smoke, sound and the fact that if I advance the throttle the engine speed up.
(yeah, I know, bad for the starter--I did not do it for long and the started is fine).
Any suggestions, insight or help would be appreciated.
I guess service and parts in Southern CA is non-existent at this point? Worthington Tractors in Leona Valley has been out of business for some time as well as some other places that were still in operation a few years back.
