Hi all,
I have a Tar River tiller and need some assistance.
As noted in the pictures there is a large nylock nut on the outside of the gear case cover. It has an o-ring also to seal. Mine leaks!
I am trying to determine if there is a specific tightening FT-LB or some other method in which this needs to be tightened.
I figure there must be something to this otherwise why would they stick this shaft through the cover? Seems kind of dumb to me!
I have not been able to find a service or technical manual for this.
I am going to replace the cover's gasket and the o-ring but would like to know what i am dealing with before disassembly.
