Help! YANMAR FX20D HYDRAULICS

Hydraulics working fine 2 weeks ago when i parked it, now ive got nothing no 3 point and fel wont work. No noise from pump no pressure just like the pump quit while it was parked. Weather got down around 30f can this cause this problem. I ve only had this tractor about 2 mo. fluid is full and clean.

I had a Hinomoto that the key on the pump shaft had broken.

If there was any moisture in the system, perhaps it froze. Perhaps you have some type of heater (like a torpedo heater) to warm up the tractor. I know in sub-freezing temps my hydraulics take a few minutes to warm up and work. Have you cleaned your screen ?? Not sure about the FX, but the screen on my YM is on the side of the trans. behind a square looking cover. As mentioned, its possible you sheared your key on the pump, but i'd look toward more simple things first.

In 2 weeks time all the debris in the oil has settled to the bottom of the gear case and it has cloged the filter screen (inside ) the tractor (not) the spin on filter. This has happened to my personal machine

disconnect the return line with a pan under it, start the tractor & see if the pump is gone (sheared)

Having trouble with my FX20D. Rear tire will not engage, only the front tires are engaged. Is there something I need to do? Can anyone help me figure this out, pls....EndresD

Endres, welcome to the forum. :welcome: You really need to start a new thread for your problem. I don't think anyone can make a diagnosis of your problem with out being there but I can tell you those models are prone to have trouble with the ring and pinion gears. I have seen and worked on an FX24D with a broken tooth on the ring gear and also sheared ring gear holding bolts.

Have you tried engaging the differential lock to see if that affects your rear wheel drive?
