highbeam, that battery of mine is an autocraft,
i started thinking about your post to joel, about vibration, becuase the day before mine crapped out i was mowing my field and it started to rain like a mf'er and i was mowing faster than i ever wanted to,in other words i was getting beat up pretty good as was the tractor, took some very good hits, but i was almost done and didnt want to wait for it to stop raining, becuase as you know,IT'S NEVER GOING TO STOP RAINING IN THE NW,

i tried to get my money back for that battery, becuase i was going to put it towards one of the gel batterys, but it was a replacement only deal, and they dont sell gel batteries so i didnt even ask about trading up.but if this one goes south again in a year,i might just break the bank for one of the gel's,and find something else for this battery to do..........chris

Hi 300,
I would take it one step further. Even though everything is great right now, check and make sure there is no paint or corrosion under the ground cable on the frame. You want to make sure all cable connections are clean and bare metal.
