I have a BX24 with 300 hrs on it. Bought in2007. I can get a BX25 for 11,000 with my tractor in trade. Is it worth it ? I am on the fence. Are there enough changes to make it worthwhile ?
Is there a replacement coming out for the BX 25 ?
Agreed. A new tractor is always nice, but unless you're just swimming in $$$ or the old one is giving you trouble, the new one will be 95% the same as what you already have... same work capability, same size and power, same reliability, etc.

Not a chance. Would make that deal unless there was something wrong with my current tractor. Sea like 10k difference would allow you to upgrade, not just maintain.
The BX24 has the abrupt stop in reverse and some plastic body parts that some people don't like. The new BX25D-1 has the run on problem when the pedal is released. Both models are plagued with some not right issues. I wouldn't trade even until the run on problem is resolved with the current BX25 and even if it is fixed the BX25 is around $18000 new with 0% financing. So $11000 from $18000 is $7000 for your BX24 with 300 hours which to me is an insult. I'd think $11,000 to $12,000 would be fair trade in price for your BX24 if it looks good and with 300 hours it should run good. $13,000 to $14,000 would be a fair for sale by owner price on Craigs list or local advertising. :2cents:
