I have 3 trailers that will need new tires soon. 235/80R/16E, LT 235/85R/16, and 205/75R/15's. 12 new tires. My local shop that does all of our car repairs carries Hercules tires and has for several years and has nothing but good things to say about them. I have had bad luck with Mission ST tires on my gooseneck hauler. Goodyear Marathons have served me well elsewhere. The Hercules are very competitively priced and I know the service from the shop will be 1st rate. Any comment or experience? Thanks

We ran some for a few years. No issues at all out of maybe 12 sets.

Put a set on my wife's Traverse. So far so good.

Never any experience with Hercules, so I can't say.

What I can tell you is that I've had really bad experiences with Carlisle and Goodyear trailer tires.

I've had really good service from Towmaster trailer tires. For 14 years, I pulled a 16' cargo trailer almost daily. The Towmaster was the best trailer tire that I ever bought.

You might want to take a look at Wanli truck tires. They make a 14ply (load range G) 16" light truck tire that is really tough. See this link Wanli 7.50R-16LT (this tire will directly replace the 235/85R-16) The set on my fifth wheel is 5 years old and I've never had a flat. I've also used Wanli tires on my 18-wheeler. Probably about the best of the Chinese tires.

Buddy of mine installed 6 Hercules brand tires on his class A RV about 3 yrs ago. He hasn't had any problems with them

While the Goodyear Marathons and Carlisle tires were good [I have trailers with both of them with a ton of miles and they are old] the new made in China ones are junk, from the research I have done. Diamond and a few others on here deal with tires a lot and I would go with what they suggest. I for one am lost with the crop of ST tires anymore. Greenball and Maxis will be first on the list [so far] if I have to go back to ST tires. CJ
