Just returned from my dealers JD day. I asked him about the X700 government weight issue. He said that it only really effected one model the X749 all wheel steer diesel. It apparently is discontinued untill next year when it may reappear as the X800 with a rops. The discontinuing of the loader for these models was due to low sales volume not frame issues. Also the 3 and 4 thousand models get updated for 2014. Said he will get to see them at dealer show in August when they roll out new products. No news on what updates are going to be. Said Deere is being tight lipped. There you go, thats the news he gave me.
