I know a couple of sales gals from Tennesse. Don't be too sure this is a "scorned" woman.

Maybe true, maybe scam. Before parting with that kind of cash for machinery, better be sure the person selling it has the right to sell it. If the husband had a loan on it down at the local bank and you buy it from the wife without paying off the bank.....

I came across one of those women once, as I was dating her daughter for a brief period. She invited me over for dinner and asked me if I fished. I brought home about 30 rods with penn reels on them for $10 for the lot. I was asked to haul a few loads to the scrap yard, in exchange for the car hauling trailer they had. I took several of the transmissions to the Mack place and got $50 each for them.
