My wife and I have been given a rare opportunity to be a part of a family farm that has been around for over a hundred years. So naturally, my first thought was, I need a tractor! Members of the family said that a 50-60hp tractor with a shredder would be a good start. I will have about 10-12K to purchase a tractor and shredder that I can use for cutting hay. So the research and choice begins.....as well, the free advice and opinions! Oh yeah, I have worked this land before to help out the family. Now I get to live here.
