Hey Power Trac, how \'bout a referral fee!!

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Just minding my own business this morning...getting ready to do my Sunday morning barn chores, so I raised the garage door and started up the 422 to make my way down to attach the bucket and get to work...was a bit cold last night so I sat there for a couple minutes while it warmed up and there was Daryle and and his sidekick Daryle standing behind me chomping on their $5 cigars......backed down the throttle all the way so I could hear them ask..."Geez, what in the heck is that there...a grass cutter?" I had the mower deck attached to conserve space in the garage. So I backed up a bit and detached the mower deck and said to Daryle.."well, not anymore!. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif "WOW! I'll be a %^&^$ exclaims Daryle, did ya see that?" he asks the other Daryle.Turns out Daryle & Daryle just bought the xmas tree farm nearby and were totally taken back by this strange looking piece of machinery..."sure don't look like any JD I've ever seen"(obviously confused by the green color!) When I advised them of the attachments you can get Daryle said in no uncertain terms he's gonna look into one of things!......so, looks like PT may have another owner in my neck of the woods..I sure hope the Tazewell group still have my address for the finders fee check! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ha ha!

That's a funny story. My neighbors, a really nice couple with 3.5 ac of manicured garden, saw my PT shortly after I purchased a JD318. She couldn't tell the difference between the two tractors!

I used the mini-hoe today to rip up some really gnarly shrubs - some of them were about 7 ft tall and 5 ft diameter. Due to the wet weather (lots of rain!) and using a strong chain and the mini-hoe, I was able to dispatch the whole lot of them in about 1 hour. It would have taken me hours and hours doing this by hand. My wife is very supportive of the PT, now that she can assign a landscaping task, and I actually look forward to most of them! I admit, the best is to rip stuff up and destroy things. Why is that so much fun? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
