Thanks for linking me up to those nice pics. Not too shabby! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I bet that thing would be awesome with a hydraulic ANBO Grappler! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Rolando will certainly appreciate the A/C cab during the summers and the heated cab during the winter too.

What is the FEL rated at? How many GPM is the hydraulic pump? Is the only part Kubota makes is the engine or they make the transmission and hydraulics too?

Hi Thom,

The FEL is rated at 1,500 lbs and a lift height of 84 inches and max reach of 35 inches, both at the pivot pin. There has been some discussion that it will lift 2,000 to 2,500 lbs to 60 inches (in the C series version), but we'll have to wait till we get some empirical evidence from folks that are about to receive their units.

The hydraulic flow is 18 gpm in the regular unit and 26 gpm with the Turbo version and the High Flow option. Hydraulic pressure is 3,000 psi. I don't know whether the pump or transmission are also made by Kubota. Others may know.

A tonne of FEL lift is allot for a small machine with that stature, not to mention the small tires, 1,500 lbs would be pretty darn good for something that size.

The Toolcat tipping weight formal rating is 3,000 pounds. Even the A and B Toolcats lift and curl more than 1,500 lbs. at less than full lift height. But when you lift a ton with pallet forks, they're not good over 4 feet high while the C series should handle a ton to five feet high. My heaviest attachment, an Ammbusher hydraulic rotary cutter, weighs over 1100 pounds and can be moved around without strain.

And yes, SkyPup, the machine is great with grapples. I have a 63" hydraulic CID root rake brush grapple that tackles lots of brush and growth, or whatever you want to grab such as good-sized logs, etc.
