Hey! Where's the Pumpkin?

This is probably a stupid question; but where's the differential for the Kubota front axle? There's no pumpkin there that I can see. I just assumed there was a ring gear, pinion and spider gears up there, but there's no room for them in the axle housing.

Can't believe I just stumbled onto this after 3 years of ownership.

Your question started me wondering how Kubota did it...

Mystery solved! I looked it up in my WSM. Everything's there, carrier, ring and pinion, and spiders. Kubota just made them smaller to fit inside the oversized front axle tube.
