Attached is a picture of the AVR from my generator. This is the old one which produced about 89/160 at 60hz...was replaced and now the generator output shows on the on board display 109/217 @ 60hz. The second picture is the wiring diagram from the generator which indicates the AVR is adjustable.

There are three small screws on the AVR. Has anyone made adjustments on the AVR for their HF PTO generator? If so, which screw is used for the adjustment? The picture is good enough to read the nomenclature...which doesn't help me at all. Which one(s) is/are the potentiometer(s)...pictures on the internet indicate all three might be potentiometers. No, I haven't tried any adjustments yet.

I'd like to keep the old AVR as a spare if I can adjust out the error and I'd like to adjust the new AVR to closer to 120/230.

By the way I bought a set of spare brushes and the AVR on Ebay.

Thanks ahead of time.

The diagram has an 800 number on the edge that says to call for technical questions. Maybe try that.

I downloaded the manual, it's pretty much worthless to you for that info. Looks like the 800 # is next as Phil suggested.

The center control MIGHT be a pot, but is more likely a rotary selector switch (possibly for a coarse RANGE adjustment - the two rectangular blue goodies are definitely pots - the one on the left is a 10K pot, meaning 10,000 ohms total range. The one on the right is a 200K pot (200,000 ohms total range) - The number 103 means 1,0, and three MORE zeros (just like the color bands on resistors denote the resistance)

But, since the manual only shows ONE adjustment for voltage, unless that module you posted a pic of is installed with JUST ONE HOLE in a cover, and unless ONE of those rectangular pots is directly under that hole, you're back to calling for help.

And, in my experience, good luck... Steve
