Hi from NW New Jersey!
I've been a long time lurker, finally decided it was time to register. I own a Ford New Holland Model 1910 4WD compact tractor with a Bush Hog front end loader and a six foot Woods PTO driven 3PH finish mower deck. It is a 1987 model, and I've owned it since 1993. It has been relatively trouble free. Other than front tires, I've only had to replace a water pump and the right front wheel bearings. I use it to plow snow in winter and mow about 3 acres in the summer. Since my property (nearly 5 acres) is on the side of a hill with about a 10% slope, I've found the 4WD to be really useful, especially in snow and mud. The loader has seen a lot of use on various construction projects, and is a real back saver.
When I purchased this tractor, I also obtained a full set of manuals for it. I've read through these manuals several times, but since I've never had to perform any major repair I am still far from completely understanding all there is to learn about it. Still, having owned it for close to 20 years, I hope to be able to make a contribution to this forum when I see questions about this tractor.
All that said, I expect the useful information available here to assist me in learning more about tractors. I also hope to be able to correspond with some interesting folks here.
