Tractor Sizing Hi. Buying new kubota real soon

Great site folks. I live in SW Mo. Have 20 acres and a bunch of goats and a few cows. I am thinking of the l3800hst I will use it for clean up of paddocks brush hogging 5' driveway maintenance yard work fencing including post hole auger and moving small round hay bales for feeding. The land is full of hills valley rocks and cedar trees lots of clean up to do. I have a 48 8n now that can't Handel the hills when cutting up not enough power down well it needs breaks. Is the L3800 a good mid range tractor,that can do all this. been getting help with 45hp neighbors till now. Price works at 18500 with FEL and brush hog. Also have a 1100 RTV that is part tank and goes everywhere I need.

Welcome to the forum, there are several satisfied owners of that size tractor, little difference between it and the 3400 and 3700. The only complaint has been with the jerky 3PH; couple of active threads going on right now.

I looked at the Lxx00 Series and decided to go with a Grand L, but the Lxx00 Series are good tractors and reasonably priced.

for handling round bales i think id step up to a MX4700 HST w/fel 4x4.

I retired my 1948 8N with this L3940HST. Do a side by side comparison, something like this may help. Philip.
