KUBOTA M4500DT
Our Kubota M4500DT had a Leak in the Fuel Filter after Slashing and we had to Change the Filter , I've Cracked the Nut on top of the Fuel Filter to Bleed it and diesel pours out the top but No air so I retightened that, I don't have a Manual for My Old Girl so I have No Idea where to look for a Bleeder tap (If there is One) , I've Tried Spraying a Product called "Start Ya Bastard" which is 25% Ether into the Air Pump, The Enging Cough Spluttered Fired for about half a minute but wouldn't keep running...
We Live Very Remote off the Grid and I'm Not Very Mechanical ( the Mrs is a Bit) , So Gentlemen Please in Lingo (language) the mrs can Understand Please Help or can someone direct me a site where she can look up how to Bleed the Tractor, She wants a Vegetable Garden ASAP - like yesterday and unless this Tractor Starts I'll be digging it with a Shovel...Thanks Mates. Hi Brian and welcome to TBN. :welcome:
I can't help you with your tractor issue, but I will suggest that you ask your question in the Kubota Owning & Operating Forum. You'll likely have a better response in there.
If not, I'm sure that in time someone will come along with helpful advice.
Good luck to you!
Tony

Here is a generic bleed out procedure. I haven't done it in a while but this should get you there.

You should have individual high pressure (metal) fuel lines going to the fuel injectors. Each has a nut around the tube where it enters the injector. Loosen those nuts just so they leak a little.

Your fuel pump might have a hand primer pump on it. Unscrew the primer plunger and pump it until it feels like you are making pressure.

Screw the hand primer back in and crank the engine. This should bleed air from the lines at the injectors. It might start while you are doing this.

After the air is bled tighten the lines back up going into the injectors. If it hasn't started it should now.
