I was doing some research for one of my customers on a discontinued tractor model and this site kept popping up so I thought I'd drop by and say hi

You all seem like a very knowledgeable group with many similar interests and possibly some control issues I may be able to help out with

I'm a small business owner who specializes in Cablecraft Mechanical Controls, both custom built cables and also many Cablecraft linkages like rod ends, ball joints, clevises etc. - You can see some of our overrun, old & misc. discontinued items on eBay under my store wowchad
(it's an old - old forum name that's just stuck with me throughout the many years I've been chat'n online)

Most of what we do here is OEM supply, but I'll never shy away from helping a guy who just needs one cable made or a couple pieces of linkage parts we just happen to have sitting on the shelf. My family has been in the trucking and industrial supply industries for over 50 years and we are still going strong. Of course things sure have changed in all those years, but good, honest and prompt customer service was instilled in us from an early age and it is the backbone of our success.

So if anyone has any questions I can help out with go ahead and shoot me a message or email and I'm sure I'll lean on some of you as well

Welcome!

I have an aggravating problem on my Kubota L3200. The PTO engage/disengage is as follows -
A lever mounted on the right fender, connected to a cable (think bicycle hand brake size/quality) that connects to another springed lever on the transmission housing.
It does not fully disengage the PTO, and I got tired of trying to keep it adjusted so it does.
I removed a panel under the seat, and now use a two step process. I disengage the lever on the fender, then reach down and yank the lever on the tranny.
One of these days I am going to rig up a lever/plunger under the seat and just take that ridiculous cable out.

Not asking for help here - just something you can relate to.

:welcome: Chad. No doubt you have plenty to contribute. Hope TBN can do the same!

I'm wondering how to book mark this post!

EVENTUALLY, a knowledgeable cable solution will be needed.

I'm frustrated with cobbling together auto parts /dime store universal kits.

Your post is appreciated!
