Hi, we just bought a run down 3 acre property on wet clay soil with no drainage. There's a ton of work to do on house, outbuildings and land. A week or so ago we bought an old Massey Fergusun 135 at a farm auction, and we are looking forward to getting out on the fields as soon as we have done a basic service/filter changes etc. It seems like a tidy little tractor, starts and runs nicely. We are complete beginners, so hoping to pick some brains on this site!:confused2:

Hi and welcome. I like the Massey 135 model you own. I look for one around here once in awhile, or a later model 230 which is an updated version. Anyway, I'm sure it will help with the chores.

Btw, on another site called yesterday's tractor, a member there that goes by John of UK knows more about old Ferguson's than anyone I have ever heard about. It seems like old Massey's are very popular in your country. Don't be shy about posting some photos of your old iron and good luck on your new place!
