Bobcat CT 230
This is my first time posting, been mostly reading. I bought a ct230 about a month and a half ago. Absolutely love the tractor. Anyway I want to add rear remotes soon and I'm wondering how difficult a job it's going to be. Oh I might add it's a Hydrostatic. Thanks Much.

My dealer installed mine for about 350 for materials and labor. I'm not sure what it involves to do it yourself.

I will be adding some soon...Plan to do it myself, I will let you know how it goes. The remotes come in kit form with full instructions.

Thanks for the replies. I have to save my pennies to buy the kit. Buying the tractor put a little strain on my finances. But my dealer made me one very good deal. I couldn't pass up. Right now I'm looking for a back blade for the coming winter. The last couple of winters we got some pretty nasty storms. This year I will be prepared. Thanks Again136300

Nice tractor, the rear remotes I would not think are that hard to install but mine were done at dealer. I know one thing be very careful of yr oring install. I think if you take the seat off it would give you plenty of room for install.

I just installed the dual rear remote kit yesterday. Not too bad of a job but its more than the hour advertised. The instructions are good but theres a few gray areas.
No torque values for the banjo fittings.
No part numbers on the tubing section so you have to figure out which one goes in what place.
Its tuff to hold the back up nut on the tubing while you tighten the QD fittings. Use teflon tape on the threads (not in the instructions)
I left the bracket a little loose to help wth tubing alignment.
All and all it's a pretty clean kit. Give yourself three hours for install just to be safe.

Thanks for the info that will help me quite a bit. A couple of more paydays and I should be able to pick up the kit. Thanks again.
