Hieght of LS XR4100 series cab?

Sitting here talking about new cab tractors with a friend. When I was last shopping we found some variance between what was listed for cab and rops height online and in the literature compared to the actual measured height of the tractors we looked at. He and I both are interested in looking at the XR4100 cab models but no one close has one on their lot. SO we were wondering if someone could actually measure the height for us and possibly post it here.

XR4040HC and XR4046HC Height to top of Cab with Ag tires: 91.1" according to LS site.

I would think the XR4100 series would be the same. They are basically the same tractor with a different engine and maybe different gauges but the cab is probably the same.


My XR3037HC is 92" with R4's but that includes an LED strobe light on top.

I'm sure one of the XR4100 series owners will better answer your question when they see the post.

The hole problem here is that when we looked last time around we found a bunch that had paperwork and web site numbers saying one thing and when we actually measured we got different numbers, I cant recall which was which but we are interested in the XR41 series and noticed the cab height is listed as being 88.1 which would mean we could park them in the garage rather than out in the Barn Problem is no one close has a XR series on the lot and we don't want to play the guessing game and order one based on the web site or the sales brochure.

Also most tractors come with the tires over inflated so having someone who has already taken the time to adjust the air pressure down on a set of r4 tires would be the best possible actual measurement we could get. It sure would save us a long drive.

Ordered my XR4155HC today. I'll be more than happy to give you an accurate measurement once its in my hands. Dealer is looking for the closest one so no delivery date yet.

I noticed the over-inflated tires on all tractors on the lot when we were looking. Seems like proper inflation pressure would be one of the first things on the list since it would make them ride a lot better.

Congrats on the new Tractor.

Right now I am still looking at different brands and patiently waiting for a factual measurement on the LS. There are a few X40 series around to get a good feel of the layout but the height listed for the XR41 series really has us interested in going that way. My understanding is both the XR40 and X41 have the cab layout the same but no one seems to be able to give a straight answer on the height difference that's listed on the brochure we got and the dealer that we were at doesn't even have a xr40 to look at, one size down and one size up.

Not sure where you are located but Wrightstractor.com in Oklahoma City has the xr40xxc and xr41xxc with shuttle shifts sitting on their lot. Chris and Cecil are great to work with.

I am not too concerned about a little travel time to look at or purchase a tractor but going from PA to Oklahoma just to see atractor and take a few measurements would be out of the question.

Took delivery today. XR4155HC with R4's at 12psi is 91" tall. No load on the lift or FEL and fuel of fuel.

Happy to take any other measurements you might need.

Congrats on the New machine! Thank you for the measurement but the height was the only thing we could not seem to get a concrete answer on by phone. We will be going for a ride to look at the XR40 series for comparison (that's all they have on the lot right now) but we are more interested in the XR41.Maybe if we can get a good deal we will be ordering some new LS tractors this weekend.
