I bought a TC24DA with last summer and love it. The only trouble I am having is that the High Range - Low Range lever doesn't always make the limit switch when in Neutral. So when I set the parking brake, place the tractor in neutral and hop off the seat the tractor shuts off. I am convinced the safety features are there for my protection so I don't want to bypass them. Has any one else has this trouble? How did you fix it? If I wiggle the lever to the right position it will not shut off, but this is a pain every time I want to open a gate or hop off the tractor. I am also assuming that it is better to let the diesel run rather than restarting it. Thanks for the help. Looking forward to Spring!

I have the same problem with my 33 although very rarely. If it were to get any worse I would just follow the linkage looking for a switch. Make sure it's properly aligned for full contact with whatever engages it.

I alwyas leave the tractor running when I'll be off for a short period of time, or letting the engine cool down before shut down.

Did you buy the tractor new last summer? If so, have it done under warranty.

Welcome to the board and if I understand your screen name, your just a bit south of me.

The switch is external to the range shift linkage. It can easily be adjusted to work properly i believe a 7mm wrench is all that is needed.
