I have a high pitched squeal on my tractor. Could it be a bad water pump, alternator or AC condenser? The fan belt seems to me to be a bit too tight but it is new and has probably 20 hours on it. Would have thought it would have gotten looser, not tighter. The noise is from the belt(s) area.

Since you have only 20 hours on it, I assume you purchased it new from a dealer and it is still under warranty. I'd have the dealer fix it. Anything you do could void the warranty.

It's hard to tell from what you have written, but I'll vote for the water pump bearings being the issue.

When the hydraulic relief valve trips it makes a squealing sound. Check that your rear remote valves and all other hydraulic valves are in the neutral position.

I started it twice today and there was no noise. It was 15 degrees cooler it that made any difference.
