High pitched whine

I have a 7610 and when moving the tractor forward in high range I get this high pitched whine and the faster I move the louder it gets. This happens on the level with no load on the tractor. The noise sounds like it's coming from the front of the tractor. Happens in 2 or 4 wheel drive. Fluid levels are ok any thing else I can check?

You didn't perhaps set the parking brake and forget to release it did you?

Parking brake or wet or loose V belt, No you dont use belt dressing!!!!!

Least possible is air bubbles in the coolant and a worn cooling pump.

Have you greased all parts after this very taxing winter.

Everything is greased. This noise started last fall while mowing. Tractor has 260 hrs on it. I keep it serviced.

My first post. My 3030 with 200 hrs makes a squeeling noise , only in high range going down the road. Never while in medium range. If I let off the throttle it stops. But starts back up when I put the throttle back down. It seems RPM dependent. If I keep the RPMs at 1,100 - 1,200 it seems to go away. My dealer said bring it in , but right now I am busy cutting wood and don't want to give it up.

does it sound like it is coming from the left front? My 7510 would make a noise like that and I think it was coming from the alternator I had thought it was the hydro pump but that is on the other side of the engine.
