- Hinomoto N209
I have a Hinomoto N209 and got one of the power steering lines down on the front axle kinked causing a leak. Of course the steering quit working. I took the line off and got a new line. A good amount of oil leaked out, but near as I can tell this is the same hyrdraulic oil as the rest of the tractor uses. The oil level is still good, but I can't get the steering to work again. Anyone know if indeed the power steering ram uses the same oil tank as for the other hydraulics?
If so, how do I get the power steering system primed again. I have tried loosening both the hoses at the ram on the front axle and turning the wheels both by using the steering wheel and by hand (with front wheels off the ground and tractor running) No luck.
Thanks,
