I visited the Tractor Outlet in Bonners Ferry, Idaho yesterday, and spent most of the afternoon there talking tractors. They have a Hinomoto N247 4X4 tractor there that I am planning to buy, unless I hear some bad news here.
Here's what I can tell you about the tractor. It's supposed to be about a 1988 model, has 1400 hours, 28 engine HP, shuttle shift, power stearing, aux hydraulics on the 3-point. It comes with a loader, set up for quick change attachments on the fel.
I'll be using this tractor for road building, maintenance and snow removal (about 3/89 mile), back filling and grading around our house when we build, and cleaning up the property (20 acres) and skidding logs.
What can anyone tell me about this tractor? The dealer comes across as very straight forward, they have inspected the clutch and brakes, done a compression test and changed all fluids and filters. The rig was very clean, and looked to me to be well built. I know nothing about Hinomoto tractors, little enough about any. Is this a good rig, especially for my use? Also, what would be a fair price to pay, and does anyone have experience with this dealer.
Thanks in advance.
Brian
