Afternoon all,
Decided to join today after being a non-member browser for the past two or so years (researching and buying my first tractor). I became a "hobby" farmer when my wife and I bought a house on five acres and she brought her horses onto the property. A lot of the maintenance, chores, and outside upkeep fell to me and I bought my first tractor, a Kubota L2501 HST in 2016. Two years into it and I've started to collect implements as well as felt the need to upgrade my tractor. I am taking delivery today on a good used 2016 Kioti NX4510 HST Cab to give me a little more capability on our farm. I use my tractors for compost duties, as well as paddock/pasture upkeep, driveway maintenance, fence installation, and mowing. I'm going to get into hay production this year as my neighbor/hay guy, has equipment the NX can run for square bales.
This forum has helped me with tractor questions in the past few years as I was dipping my toes into the world of farming. Hoping that it'll continue to be a good source of info and experience as I move forward.
Thanks,
FVF
