If I had serious towing to do, I'm sure that I would prefer a SuperDuty! But my towing consists of using my 6x14 flatbed trailer with a 3200# rating to take my 1800# Power King tractor about 40 miles to a tractor show once a year, occasionally getting some lumber for a project, and a few loads of mulch each year! With a 3800# rating on the Magnum, I can handle those jobs easily enough!
My original plan was to get a sports car (RX-8), or a rally car (STi), and keep the Durango forever! However, my wife thought that 3 cars were too many, and when my son described his needs, it seemed to make sense for him to take the Durango to Chicago, and for me to blend my high performance desires with my practical needs in the form of the Magnum, which was custom built in Florida, and hopefully will serve me quite well! It looks kind of unique, is roomy, comfortable, safe, handles great, has lots of power, and with its Multiple Displacement Hemi can get about 30 mpg on the highway!!
