Here is a fuel wagon that I recently built. I've been scrounging parts for several years and finally put it all together. I was originally planning to use a 50 gallon fuel storage tank from Agri Supply or TSC, but came accross this nice Stainless Steel one for $100, couldn't pass it up. The back wheels and axle came from an old boat trailer that a friend gave me and the front wheels came from a donor garden wagon. Of course, I shortened the axle and reinforced it with a piece of heavy angle. I got the pump from the marked-down table at Agri Supply. It is a 12vdc model and I plan to power it from the plug on the back of my tractor. The frame is mostly 3 inch channel, and the pivot in the front is 7 or 8 inch channel. I put the D rings on front and rear so I can anchor it down to the trailer when I go to fill it up. It is fairly heavy to move, but about the same as a wheelbarrow of sand. I may need a helper to move it when I get it filled, but that will only be a few feet to get it under my shelter.

Since I only use 35-45 gallons per year, I think this is going to work out nicely.

Nice fueling system, VINNIE. Ain't stainless steel great? Also nice
to be so close to AgriSupply....I order their stuff shipped 3000 miles
to me on the left coast, and it is still a good deal.

Have you thought about getting off road delivered now that you have the fuel wagon.
I have a 30 gallon drum the supplier stops by and fills with off road whenever I need it.

* &* *

* I ran into both of these problems when I went to set up my pump and 30 gallon system.
By the time you add the pump filter and some sort of a cart wagon or caster/dolly to the drum things start getting to heavy for one person to lift the empty thing up into the bed of a pick up truck.
I solved this problem by not attaching the pump and filter to the drum and not using anything with wheels or casters.
The empty drum is real light and easy for one person to throw on the truck.
** Now the loading problem is solved but there's still the how do I get the full drum unloaded off of the truck question.
Use the tractor/Nope don't want to dig it out mount the clamp on forks then put it all away after the drum's unloaded,
Solution forget that drum and leave it set where it is and get a spare one to take and get filled then plumb in a second suction hose on the pump so I can pump the fuel from the drum i took and got filled into the storage drum then set the empty off the truck=E A S Y AS P I E !!

That's a nice set up you have but there is no need to take it anywhere to have it filled.
