home made lift kit for xuv

has anyone else seen this xuv picture . i think the guy is gonna run into trouble with the front end but other than the front end it looks pretty decent. i don't care for the spliced axles . or the front end but thats just my opinion UtilityOffRoad.com Message Board - custom lift

I agree with your assessment. I really like the idea of it, but am wondering how the rest of the running gear ( motor, trans, bearings etc ) will take the extra load of the bigger tires rims, etc. I know it wears front end parts on trucks, so I can only imagine it doing the same with that Deere. I hope he makes it work though.

it will be interesting to see. The main thing i'm lookin at is the way they spliced the front axles and the way they made the lift for the front. the back looks good but the front is not so good. but 32"tires on a xuv i don't think so. i sure hope for his sake after spending that much on the lift that they work. i think he could have called the guys at gorrila lift and they could have made him a better kit with new axles for the same if not cheaper price.
